Station 31 Half Marathon
Sean, Pete and I got out in the cold air and breeze and ran us a half marathon.
One hour 57 minutes. I think it was 20 laps around the block. I loved it. We BS'ed like we always do, but we were doing a half.
We got strange looks. Only one van of girls giving us cat calls (shoulda been more).
We put a table on the corner with a bunch of water. Stopped for h2o as needed.
Oh, Moses started with us but he got a transport half a mile in. Too bad (lucky him).
Jefe just didn't do it.
Tradition? Perhaps.
88.7 miles to go!

Fran
2 miles true barefoot on treadmill. Hotspots forming and irritating. Threw on the 5fingers and went two more. 15:45 and 13:45. I believe that equals around 29:30.
Then I did a fran. Its been years. I wanted to die for a second. 5:20 isn't a great time, but it will have to do.

Frogley!

Baa baa black sheep.
Ran into the man at the ski sale and ended up inviting myself on his afternoon run. We went 4.35 miles in the 35 degree weather in 33:25. That was quicker than either one of us might have done solo. It was nice to hang out with him.
When I got home, my fam was asleep. So I stretched a bit and headed back out with a super tight right calf (why?) to do the same run backwards.
It took me 100 seconds longer than our first run. It was still cold. 35:05.
Thaats an 8.7 mile day. Good times.

Ugh - Treadmill
Crappy weather. Treadmill to the rescue! 5fingers warmed up a bit.
3 x 20 minute runs. Why? I dunno. We had water rationing going on I suppose.
2.25 miles
20 pull up set
2.4 miles
2.55 miles - right calf super tight right off the bat. Ran through anyway.
some situps - not enough of em though.
I guess thats 7.2 while going nowhere, right?
Right arch still achy.

Curtain Call
Went out for a nice 5finger hour. Probably the last of these beautiful spring-like November days.
Felt so good. Got 7.6 miles done. I was happy about dropping the pace in the 2nd half. Thats nice.
Tiny little blisters on my 2nd toes. From what?
Then a cool little hike with my amazing family. It was my boy's 2nd birthday!
And finally, the finale. Closing night. Sold out crowd with a waiting list. Good show. I still think last night was the best, but tonight was really good! I already miss it. What a fun thing to do and a fun group of people! Thank you Carolyn for roping me in!

Speaking of amazing, 5th of 7 shows tonight. Jefe and Hintze were there. Good times.
