Do do do do do.
Jefe, SB1 and I went to volunteer with the union at the burn camp. That was after I had to detour and take 2 hrs to drive a 40 min drive to the water park, go down a couple slides and bail on my fam to hit the junk yard.
Needless to say, by the time I got home, I just did the same old one miler while the dog cruised and did his thing.

Took it sleasy on a 1.3 lapper. Then CMT called, my oldest friend. Miss 'im? Yeah, a bit.

I wanna be fast

Strava is like a video game, but I'm the avatar.
Since Spice is recovering from his fast Jupiter run (nice work!)
I figgered I'd beat his segment of 1.3 miles. Threw down a 6:24 ave with no wind and a beautiful cool evening. Total of 2.7 miles.
Good stuff.

SOO Hot!

drove home and then to the deep south 4 hours later.
So I went out for a 10k in the 90 degree dry heat.
Pulled off an average 7:51 for 6.3 miles. Niet bad in the oven.
