End one Start Another

Right?
It was midnight when I finished mile one.
So I did mile two - another lap of the usual - and it counts for today's mile.
I came up with a great tell-off speech in the new batman's voice.
Oh how I would love to share that speech.
Of course you know I won't.

Full Moon Awesomeness

The four original charter members ran 7.7 miles and chased elk and deer. Absolutely LOVELY!

Levi lovin'

simply meaning that I ran in my jeans with my buddy the frog. Come-as-you-are 2 miler in the brisk late fall air and under a big almost-full moon.
Just lovely. Christmas is coming. The goose is getting fat.

4.75 miles on the trail started a decent day. Got the house lit up like the Griswalds' and got some leaves sucked up from under the bushes. It was kinda nice to not do much.

Pretty, Cold

I really do love running in this weather. SB1 and I ran 4.5 before going home. Nothin too crazy fast or long, but I might have burned a tenth of the calories I ate yesterday.

Tires again

dropped the car off in the morning. Ate breakfast with the kids. Cleaned syrup off of the boy's pants. Walked home with the gremlins - rural/suburban hike. Fun
They got the wobble and the pull to the right outa there. I'm a little concerned about this set of tires though. S I ran to get the car later. 1.7 miles. The first one was 6:28. Not too shabby with no warm up I suppose.

It's official

Grey (white) hair = I'm old. That and my wife had a birthday today which makes me even older. She still has it though, I can tell ya that much!
Awoke at 6 and made a cake, ran a mile with the big dog. Put the sweet rolls in, took a shower and got dressed for clinic, got eggs and bacon ready,  jumped out and scared mommy when she got home from her night shift. (thanks for the help kids!)
Did a bunch more stuff and I think it was a good bday.
Oh, and the tooth fairy came last night, too! She left a note. I understand that its super rare to get notes.

Ran with my Frog Homey dark and early. BHM came finishing his run as we started ours. Awkward! Sorry Mike! (He's too fast anyway)

Hace Frio

It was really cold and I have a cold. But I headed out solo for a 4 and a half mile road run at 6:30 am. Beeeeeautiful.

Sick o night runs

And sick. Cough, sinus congestion. Blah. Got my usual one miler with the dog at about 9pm. I gotta change to mornings.

Fakesgiving

After a day in turkeyville with the inlaws, I went out for a singlet without the dog. It was cold. It was pretty. It was pretty cold.

Mud, snow, and blood

I wish it was a cool story about slamming my face on the ice or fighting a coyote. But my nerd nose just bled. I thought it was snot. Awesome. 3 laps. 3 miles. One felt so good, I figgerd I'd do 2 more.

I looked out the window

And it was so cold and blizzardy. So I did a 5k on the dreadmill. Yes, I wussed out. but I still ran!

Company!

Thank you Froggero. It was lovely to talk to you for a bit. One mile at 10:00 with mi amigo.

Rotated and balanced

So I ran til they called me, then turned around and went back. 7.2 miles. Five fingers. 7:39/mile.
Beautiful.
P.S. the car still wabbles and it pulls to the right now. Boo.

My boy

Got up early to run. Problem is the kids did too. So I got another one mile trot in. but he's 4 now! Cute little stink. Family swim time at the pool til late. Good times.

Diabetes Day

Catchin up with Nacho. Hangin with cool kids from school. Doing good stuff for people. Then the usual one at night.

Had to move. I owedd it to my homey. 1.3 miles and an interrupted card workout. Algo es algo.

Meatloaf

With frankenloaf in the oven, peas and taters on the stove top, I went off for a one mile lap. Came back and we feasted.
I thought I would work out today, but I did not.

14 dollar helmet

But what was the true cost? My blood boiled when my little daughter told me that a man took the helmet she was holding onto to buy at the big annual ski sale. I almost killed the guy, and by gum I got that helmet. If people knew that I'm just waiting for an excuse to pummel someone, they would maybe not make my children cry.

Any hoo! The girls rode their bikes while I ran 4.7 miles. That was just awesome! I rel]ally like doing that. Then the dude and I took a turn around the church a couple times. Sweet.

Ugly shirt

Which was a bummer cause this was my first iron man. But since I am cleaning out my closet, I got a pic to always remember it. Then I did another boring mile in the beautiful night. (i miss actually running some distance)
